As a dedicated dance filmmaker and performer, Precious Ellis brings a unique blend of creativity and technical expertise to every project. Currently, she dedicates her work managing her production company VaseJar Productions and NO PANIC LLC to leading the advancement of Dance Filmmaking. Her works have been screened across the globe. We direct, produce, choreograph, and conceptualize story-driven projects worldwide. On and off the stage, VaseJar and NO PANIC are committed to our relentless pursuit of a future where dance entertains and empowers, fostering a sense of unity and purpose.
Mission
As a Black dancer, choreographer, and filmmaker, my work exists at the intersection of art and activism, where movement becomes a language of resistance, resilience, and liberation. I am driven by the power of dance to reclaim narratives and amplify marginalized voices, using my body as a vessel to express truths too often silenced. My mission is to inspire dialogue and spark empathy, challenging audiences to confront systemic injustices and imagine new possibilities. Through movement, I seek to create spaces for collective healing, liberation, and transformation—bridging art and activism to uplift, empower, and center communities historically pushed aside.
